Product Details

  • HIGH PERFORMANCE PLUGS - Pressure plugs are made to closer tolerances and are a higher quality construction than pipe plugs.
  • GREATER SEALING PERFORMANCE - Special controlled 7/8” thread taper provides greater sealing performance when used in a conventional 3/4" taper thread hole.
  • NO SEALING COMPOUND NEEDED - LevlSeal will seal at pressures up to 5000 P.S.I. without a sealing compound.
  • SEATS LEVEL - Sits flush with the surface within 1/2 pitch.
  • PRECISION HEX SOCKETS - Maximum depth sockets provide positive wrenching at higher seating torques, and are produced from heat treated alloy steel for strength and durability.
  • REUSABLE - Can be reused and provide a good seal.
  • MARKINGS - 6 equally spaced identification grooves. (1/16-27 has 3 grooves)
  • IDEAL APPLICATIONS - Typically used in hydraulic and pneumatics applications.
  • ASTM A574 ALLOY STEEL - Rc 30-45 Hardness.
